I guess the ground being wet mud also helped here. The leg guard looks very small but i guess it did its job of protecting the fairing and all, along with the clutch lever. I had my heart in my mouth while going to pick it up. After about 12-15 days of ownership there was a storm in the night and i woke up to see that the bike had fallen on its left. well lets say about 300mtr is non existant road, full of sand and gravel with steep gradient. After 500km have started to take the bike to 4.5k rpm. Bill was Rs 614/- (oil - 480 + oil filter - 74 + chain servicing - 60). Engine Oil and filter was replaced along with tightening of all screws in the fairing and lubrication of chain. So after that till 500km kept it between 2.5k and 4k. I was having to change gears every few second due to the small rev range and short gearing, compounded because im in hills. I kept RPM under 3.5k for the first day (50km) but it was proving to be too difficult. My red AS200 bought on June 7th has done ~870 KM. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences I have felt the brakes were even better than the ones on my CBR > Brakes are good, trust me That Spongy is good spongy unlike the sharp 220. Infact I have started using hand signals more than the Indicators. > Yup the blue back-lights are cheesy! and I hate the indicator switch. Need to make sure there is minimum contact. > Fix for the mess inside the fairing is to tape all the exposed wires and bind them together with tape or that plastic fastener thingy. The beam on my bike is spread out too much, that has thinned the intensity. SUV like Turning radius spells terror when parking in tight spaces!Īll in all, satisfied with my purchase! Sure love the attention it gets and the questions I get to answer! > Projectors, need to find if there is a focus adjuster like the ones on the P220.Brakes are good, thought little on the spongy side.Indicators.weird as hell! So unlike anything I've ever used!.Console, a little gimmicky with the Blue back-lights, sadly. As already said, wiring in the bikini-fairing are a complete mess! The bike doesn't even turn lock to lock without hitting something! Fix for this?. ![]() I feel my previous Pulsar with 55W Osram had better focus and throw. Projectors are good, but not brilliant. My extra 2 cents after the initial Exp :. Yes, I feel so too.Lugging to be avoided at all costs! The bike wants you to pull it upwards of 5k and you have to use all your willpower to stay in line!
